YOUNG HORSES

Young horses are eager to learn. Everything we teach them is new and can be a positive or a negative experience. The way we present them new things and exercises is very important.

Going too fast because all seems to go well is a common mistake. Young horses need time to grow, to trust and process everything we are presenting and teaching them.

A good foundation training is the key to succes. Asking too much, too fast, giving aids that aren’t clear can cause stress, frustration and anxiety.

Take your time to develop the horse’s mind and body.
